Hello, everyone. I am a Chinese girl.I am from Changchun ,China. I found this website yesterday. It is really perfect, I think. There are so many kinds of people with different nationalities ,different background here. My English is really poor in whatever aspects, especially listening and speaking . Here , all the things are English , no one character , so it is very useful for me , I believe. I am eager to improving my English in all aspects, so I hope all the friends here can do me a favor. I hope we can become good friends. If there are some mistakes here ,please point them out for me . Thanks a lot !!

Welcome! #2 (permalink) Wed Feb 22, 2006 14:07 pm   Welcome!

Hello Selina, and welcome!

I’m glad you joined us. As they say: the more, the merrier. I don’t find your English poor at all, quite the contrary. But if you want to feel more confident about it and have fun at the same time, you’ve come to the right place. Whenever you feel like it, don’t hesitate to share your doubts, thoughts or experiences with us.

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome all other new members as well. As a Spanish saying goes, ‘the world is a handkerchief’. With this kind of forums we can certainly keep it that way and even make it shrink more... I mean in size, not in quality!

Smile
