Dear Learner,
In this example, I first thought that "match" was the correct answer, because "match" means to be exactly like, to correspond, to be equal or alike but after considering it carefully match is very much about colours (or even people) that go together well. In addition, the sentence will sound much better if you add that. "The description of the robber ....... that of the man over there." As fit and match seem at first to be practically the same, fit would be much better here, for the reason I mentioned above (match refers more to colours)
The description of the robber _________ the man over there. Answer is a) Fits b) suits c) matches
