Many teachers assign homework to students everyday. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

People say that practice makes perfect. This phrase really encourages many students to practice and study more diligently. In addition, it also has influenced teachers to plan a lot of homework for their students, pushing them into lots of practices. I believe that these daily homework is necessary for the improvement of students.

First of all, studying is not always an enjoyable activity for students. There are several subjects that some students do not interested in or even hate so much, but they should study them in order to graduate. If they do not pass those subjects, some parents may blame the teachers because unable to make them studying. Because of this reason, giving homework to students will encourage all students including ones who do not like or are lazy to be able to study and get a better score.

Doing homework can teach students to be responsible. If they do not do the homework given by their teachers, they may get a punishment and obviously do not get score on homework. This situation can lead to failure on that subject. In the other hand, if they do their homework well, but get a bad score on the exams, the homework score can cover their bad score, and help them to pass the subject. They can realize that every act they do has a consequence.

In summary, homework can encourage students especially the lazy ones to study at home, and can teach them about responsibility. I believe that a wise teacher is the one who gives his students a lot of homework. :)
