Thank you very much Kitosdad! I'd be very appreciat your help. By the way, I really like your sentence "keep it simple...keep it interesting", but it seems that I haven't made it. Can you help me please?
In today's contemporary era, the world is changing at an ever-quickening pace. Meanwhile, people are making great efforts to perfect themselves in order to keep up with this pace, and this where the controversy arises. Some people hold the opinion that people have changed to being less friendly to some extent, maybe because of the transformation of the society. However, others who strongly disagree with this cite that, on the contrary, people are becoming far more enthusiastic and helpful to others than before. From my own perspective, the latter one is more reasonable.
There are a considerable number of instances to consolidate my statement, that is, almost everyone is becoming more and more friendly, not only to their friends, but also to strangers. Life abounds with such examples. In the first place, the popularity of the (I)nternet provides the optimal platform for people to help each other and share a wide range of resources and information. Thus they will become increasingly more sincere toward others, considering that their communication and understanding have been strengthened. It is not hard to imagine that if people ask for solutions to their difficult problems on the (I)nternet, then there will be an amazingly number of suggestions people provide sincerely. In turn, there is little doubt that when other people need help, the person who has been helped, will make every effort to help them as best they can.
Another aspect that cannot be ignored is that a growing number of people are passionately engaged in charity work nowadays, from the poverty-stricken areas to the earthquake-damaged areas, from their home countries to the whole world. It is not accidental to see that a lot of celebrities including millionaires and famous movie stars have found the diversities of charitable institutions. Owing to advanced education that they themselves received, and the improvement of their levels of living, they are getting to know the value of compassion and the significance of dedication. In a word, people are now enjoying a colourful spiritual life and living harmoniously.
Therefore, with all the aspects explained above, it is reasonable to draw the conclusion that people are not becoming indifferent to others; on the contrary, they are friendlier than people in the past. What's more, I believe in the persistence of the new social tendency. ................................................................................................................................ You write exceptionally well Becky. It is nice to have you on our thread. I was unable to find your previous essay. Perhaps you posted it under someone else's work. This was a very intelligent essay. Thank you.
