What is the opposite of atheist?

Some word other than believer.
What word do you usually use if one believes much in God?

It depends on the belief.

'Are you religious?' might be an umbrella term, but usually the specific religion would be mentioned:
Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, etc.

As I said, 'religious' is a common word.

A devotee can be interested in anything, and can just as easily apply to secular things as to religious things.

Believer, unbeliever.
Believer = Religious person.
Unbeliever = Atheist.
So opposite word to an atheist is believer. Just my opinion.
