Hello everyone,

I'd like to ask what "eventual" means in the following context

Can you tell us whether or not there are planets currently orbiting Sinus and if so, are there three-dimensional beings from any eventual Sirius A planets involved in human evolution? I am eager to know if there are planets still orbiting the ascended stars as well.

I looked up the word in question in the dictionary, but I have to admit I'm still not sure:

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/eventual

–adjective
1. happening at some indefinite future time or after a series of occurrences; ultimate: His mistakes led to his eventual dismissal.
2. depending upon uncertain events; contingent.

My guess is that it's the second meaning. Am I right?
