Over-dependence on computers

Topic: Children are spending more time at their computers today than playing with their friends. What are the negative consequences of this over-dependence on computers and how can they be avoided?

Along with the popularity of computers, children are spending more time at game online today, instead of playing with their friend. As a result, it caused many negative consequences for our children which relate to health, intelligence development, distance to other family members, and so on. This essay will examine these harmfulness as well as will point out the measure to avoid this over-dependence.

The first and foremost, the more attracted children are in computer, the more bad influence they will get in mature period. The most obvious problem is that limited the vision. Indeed, over-focusing on computer screen within long time can makes their eyes be exhausted. For that reason, more and more children wear glass today. Beside that, it also creates the heavy pressure to heart and nervous system.

Moreover, it can discourage the development of intelligence in both learning and improving people skills. Firstly, many argued that the more active the children are, the more intelligent they are when they grow up because their brains will have more chances to practice in solving real problems. Furthermore, when playing with friends, children will learn from their friends and to improve their behaviors. In the contrast, children who waste the great number of time on computer tend to become violent, not including do not have enough time for studying.

Eventually, children do not share their time to family. They don’t want to spend time in order to understand and take care other family members. When it happen, whether they can really love and trust the other family members . As the result, they will be far from their own family gradually.

To put all in a nutshell, over-dependence on computers can danger to children ‘s health, intelligence and can prevent them from their family. Therefore, parents should train time management skill to their children since they were little. It is really helpful to reduce side-effect of computer.
