Good evening Mr Kitos. Please help me to review this essay. Thank you so much
If I get an opportunity to have dinner with a famous person, that would be a one of the best things ever that ever happened to me. There are so many people I plan to see: the hot guy from “The Matrix” Keanu Reeves, the rock star Marilyn Manson..., but the celebrity that I want to see the most would be the President of the United States: Mr Balack Obama. I have a lot of concerns over the unemployment rate in theUS that I woud like to express to him. Also, I want to discuss with him about some critical problems related to China and the recession. Besides, since he is considered one of the greatest leaders, I really want to hear some advice from him about how to be a successful leader myself.
First, I want to talk with him about the high unemployment rate in the US. I plan to take an MBA course in the US next fall. Hence I really care about whether it is easy for me to get a job after graduating. The Obama's administration keeps saying that they are over the recession, and that they are recovering, but the statistic shows the contrary. The unemployment rate is still unexpectedly high, and it is even a little bit higher than it was in the middle of the recession. That is a big question in my head, that I hope I can find the answer at dinner with him.
Second, I want to know his idea about some of today's world problems, such as the issue about China's currency and China's rare earth export. Does China try to make a monopoly of the rare earth's industry?; Does WTO have any specific plan to force China to increase their currency? What does the President think about the gossip that World War III will soon occur after the North fired dozens of shells at a South Korean island? I believe that he-as one of the worlds most powerful politicians, will give me a lot of interesting ideas, and an insight about the crisis over the mentioned world highlight
Last but not least, I want to learn from his first hand experience of being a leader. Balack Obama is very famous for his convincing speeches over the economical issues. Besides, he is the first president to gain such a huge attention from the public. People do not only treat him as a president, but also treat him as a celebrity, the same way they do to a movie star or a music star. In general, he has retained a distinguish achievement over other national leaders. For those reasons, a conversation with him at dinner will definitely bring me valuable knowledge of leadership skills.
To put it in a nutshell, Obama is at the first name on my celebrity list for dinner. That is a big chance for me to obtain the realistic information about the politic problem as well as gaining significant advice about how to be a good leader. However, I think he will also find the dinner attractive because he will gain back some fresh opinion from a normal persons perspective. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Good work Phuongmy.
