[quote="Ipathigo"]Dear Kitosdad
Can you please correct my essay?
Thank you in advanced. =)
Some people think to watch a movie in a cinema is better, but others think at home is better, which one do you prefer?
People have various ways which can be chosen to watch movies. Some people prefer in theaters because they like the atmosphere with enormous audiences. Other, however, disagree with this idea. I think watching at home is better because I don’t like to be disturbed when watching movies. There are several viewpoints presented as follows.
To begin with, many old movies are no longer played in theaters, only DVD stores can find them. For some people who like watching old movies, the DVD stores are the best choices. Take me as an example, I like watching old movies, especially the mimes which starred by Charles Chaplin. I very enjoy the sense of humor that these type of movies bring to me, but these kinds of movies are not shown in theaters. Therefore, I always go to DVD stores to borrow movies then watch them at home.
In addition, people will not be disturbed by others’ loud laughter or some noises which shouldn’t be allowed when movies are playing. I am a person who does not like having any noises when watching movies, because these disturbances will distract my attention from the movie. In the theaters, I always face these situations and feel upset, but if watching at home, I would not be worried about these problems. Moreover, I can turn the volume to the best situation which is suitable for me.
What’s more, watching movies at home is good for people to totally relax and they can choose the best posture to enjoy their favorite movies. Furthermore, people can select a time suitable to them to watch movies. For me, I like to watch movies on Friday night, the last work day of the week, because I would not to worry about what time I should finish watching them. Meanwhile, I also like to have a cup of coffee and some cookies when watching movies.
In conclusion, from what I have discussed above, I think that watching movies at home is better than watching them in the theater. .............................................................................................................................. Not too bad Ipithago, but not very imaginative.
