Currently,the debate on whether we should completely focus on our occupation is a quite controversial topic.The traditional prejudice is that the young should strive to pursue high achievement and spending too much time and energy on traveling is not worth.However,most of the young people hold an opioion that enjoying life is equal to industrious work.
Initially,a vacation is able to promote our efficience to complete our work-related affairs.I once read that ‘all work and no rest make a dull boy” and “the art of life lies in constant change of our surroundings.”No one is able to maintain a maximum efficiency continuely for the reason that we are the creatures of the nature instead of the machines.The legendary saxophonist called Kenny G, who is also a distinguished composer,is enthusiastic about traveling and treat vocation as an essential part of his musical life.He once visited a ancient city entitled Beijing from which he was stimulated by the fascinating landscapes there and therefore he created and published the well-known song jasmine flower. .Despite his talent in music, we can also conclude that his achievement is partly result from his passion for traveling.
Additionally,short hours of labour can provide us a chance to communicate with people from all walks of the world,thereby building up our personal relationship net.Official figures released by the national institution of sociology indicate that good interpersonal relationship plays the center part of the human’s success in the career,which means the shortcut to achieve our ambition is to cultivate friendship rather than to exert all one’s strength to work.This point can be perfectly illustrated with the example of the first black president of America,Barack Obama,who excels at making friends with others.Though he does not have any political background in his family,he earns the fame by his ability to influence people.So we can learn from this story that a shorter working hours is advantageous in some case.
Evidently,whether to choose a high-paying job with longer working time or a low-paying job with shorter working hours largely relates to our value of life.Our life span is short and limited.In my viewpoint,nothings can be more meaningful than staying with our family.Accordingly,I will definitely prefer a relaxing job.

Neddless to say,the high-paying job with more diligence counts under certain condition.When one is in great demand of a considerable amount of earnings to solve something emergent like illness,a laborious job is bound to be worthwhile.However,I will still select a light life in most instances for the reason mentioned.
