To what extent do you think teachers are being replaced by computers? #1 (permalink) Thu Dec 02, 2010 4:36 am   To what extent do you think teachers are being replaced by computers?

In light of the technological route that education is on today there has been some speculation as to the role of teachers in future education. To what extent do you think teachers are being replaced by computers?

Computer and technological methodologies are widely used in education systems, which reducing the necessity for teacher. As more and more technology sprouting out in curriculum in schools currently, there would seem to be less and less need for teacher to be present, owing to the essential role of computers playing in self-study. However, in my point of view, computer will never replace teachers for it is merely a vehicle and can never present spiritual elements as teachers.

In contemporary society, technology playing a necessary role in self-study and independent learning, it helps students practicing and promoting efficiently and effectively. For instance, it could solve a mathematic problem in a second or help students memorizing historical materials. What's more, on-line teaching fulfill a teacher to teach a vast majority of students all the same time, which not only conserve costs for schools but also save time for learners. Nowadays enormous world-class universities offering some categories of degree that enables individuals to learn for a diploma on-line,which is promoting the education rate of the society. That is undoubtedly a useful policy. It would therefore seem that teachers are increasing redundant to educational procedures.

But an obviously shortage of learning by technology has been illustrated. That is the emotional aspects of both teaching and learning. As is known to all, learning is a typical procedure that needs continuous interactions and communications. In conventional education, teacher plays such a vital role to lead students to think independently, to create learners' capacity to come up with hazards in a variety range of ways, and, more importantly, to inspire students who are disturbed by troubles. All above can make learners comfortable. Only the learners themselves realize that learning is a stimulating and fascinating procession can they fulfill the intentions efficiently and effectively. Therefore, no matter how sophisticated technology becomes a teacher will be always needed. So that a real interaction will exist between learners and teachers.

Generally speaking, what will happen is that the position of computer or technology will not take up that of teachers. However, for a further improvement of teaching methodology, it will be of real significance if the procedure is developed into a synthesis of tradition and modernity. By that i mean, computer is an essential tool for teachers and students to promote themselves effectively, whereas teachers are still of real importance in teaching and learning period.

thank you very much for your time!!

It appears to be good, but it isn't. Far too many errors. Missing prepositions and incorrectly structured sentences. You really need to organise your work better than this
Shakiraaa. Think what you are trying to say before you start writing.
