In light of the technological route that education is on today, there has been some speculation as to the role of teachers in future education. To what extent do you think teachers are being replaced by computers?
Computers and technological methodologies are widely used in today's education systems, which are quickly reducing the need for teachers. As more and more technology sprouts out in curriculum in schools, there would seem to be less and less need for teachers to be present, owing to the essential roles that computers are playing in self-study. However, from my point of view, computers will never replace teachers for they are merely vehicles and can never replace the spiritual elements as teachers.
In contemporary society, technology is playing a necessary role in self-study and independent learning. It helps students practicing and promoting their work more efficiently and effectively. For instance, it can solve a mathematical problem in seconds, or help students in memorizing historical materials. What's more, on-line teaching can teach a whole group of students all at the same time, which not only conserves costs for schools, but also saves time for learners. Nowadays enormous world-class universities are offering some categories of degree, that enable individuals to learn for a diploma on-line,which is promoting the education rate of society. That is undoubtedly a useful policy. It would therefore seem that teachers are becoming increasingly redundant to educational procedures.
An obvious shortage of learning by technology has been illustrated. That is the emotional aspects of both teaching and learning. As is known to all, learning is a typical procedure that needs continuous interactions and communications. In conventional education, teachers play such a vital role in leading students to think independently, and to create learners' capacity to cope with hazards in a variety of ways. More importantly, to inspire students who are disturbed by troubles. All above can make learners comfortable. Only the learners themselves realize that learning is a stimulating and fascinating process with which they can fulfil their intentions efficiently and effectively. Therefore, no matter how sophisticated technology ,a teacher will be always needed. So that a real interaction will exist between learners and teachers.
Generally speaking, what will happen is that the position of computer or technology will not replace that of teachers. However, for a further improvement of teaching methodology, it will be of real significance if the procedure is developed into a synthesis of tradition and modernity. By that (I) mean, the computer is an essential tool for teachers and students to promote themselves effectively, whereas teachers are still of real importance in the teaching and learning period. ...................................................................................................................... It appears to be good, but it isn't. Far too many errors. Missing prepositions and incorrectly structured sentences. You really need to organise your work better than this Shakiraaa. Think what you are trying to say before you start writing.
