Important qualities of a good boss

Nowadays, people, working in different fields, such as hospitals, universities and companies, hold different opinions about the most important qualities of a good boss. Depending on personal experience and emotional concern, people suggest that a good supervisor should be sensitive and understanding person. However, as far as I am concerned, I strongly believe that the most important qualities of a good boss are ability to be a pattern for all subordinates, and presence of communication skills.

It is believed that a boss should be a pattern for his subordinates and influence working process in the whole department. Moreover, if department is faced with some problems concerning one worker or another, boss should know all duties and processes in order to help to subordinates with their work. For example, working for one well-known investment company, a few days ago my department was enlarged, and we have been searching for a new employee. While we do not have any candidate, our supervisor is doing those duties. That is why a good boss should know everything what his subordinates do.

Another essential quality of a good supervisor is that he should have communicational skills in order to help his workers when they are asking for. Boss is the first person who should know about any problem his subordinates have in order to set them to the right track. For instance, in the last course of university I found a job in one of the foreign companies in my town. Unfortunately, during exams I had lack of time to prepare myself for them owing to my work where I spend lost of time. Since my supervisor has been a very communicational person, I solved this problem with him, and passed all the exams.

Summing up the aforesaid, we may safely draw the conclusion that there are a great number of qualities of a good boss, and different people have their own opinions. However, in my point of view, the most essential qualities of a good supervisor is that being a pattern he should know all duties of subordinates and easily communicate with them.

Those dates, which we see nect to topics, are the dates of the last comment. And one of two essays has a date of posting and your correcting 1 dec. which is yesterday, but due to comments it looks like i posted it today :)

i thought I'm going crazy and cannot count two :) LOL
