There are probably already several poetry topics on this site, but I don't see one, so let's start another one. hehe

So... feel free to post your favorite poetry, your own poetry, your favorite poetic lines, etc.

I'll get this party started with a few lines from some of my favorite poems:

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
- From "I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud" by Wordsworth

Good fences make good neighbors.
- From "Mending Wall" by Frost

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less travelled by
And that has made all the difference.
- From "The Road Not Taken" by Frost

What are this world's true joys,-- ere the great voice,
From its fair face, shall bid our spirits fly.
- From "To My Brothers" by Keats

----
This is from a song I wrote:

Let me be the one to turn your world around
And put that pretty smile back on your face
Let me be the one to take you all the way
To the moon, to the stars, across the galaxy.
When you feel alone, your doors are all closed,
And you need someone to help you find the key...
Let me.

---

another one:

I'll be your stars on a cloudy night
When you need love I will hold you tight
If you need to talk, baby just call me
I'll be your rock when you're feelin' weak
Find your eyes when you can't see
And when you need a friend,
Or a love with no end,
That's what I am.

Have at it!
