Good morning Kitosdad~I'm not satisfied with this essay by myself, because I have used many repeated expressions, such as "different..of different.." and "individuals". It is not easy to avoid them. Can you help me?
Some people prefer to spend their lives doing the same things and avoiding change. Others, however, think that change is always a good thing. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Throughout the last century, an increasingly number of lifestyles available had emerged, various life for individuals resulted from the diversity of this rapidly developing world.
Thanks to the benefits of new modern technology, such as the Internet and telecommunication, it is more likely for modern citizens to stay at home to receive information from the outside world, compared to preceeding generations who had to travel around or visit others to be informed. Therefore, peaceful life like staying at home without any variations may be enjoyed by a considerable amout of people.
Conversely,an unpredictable life with amazing adventures or intense competitions is more attractive to others, they would argue that the essence of life lies in discovering new things or understanding different cultures through communicating with different people, rather than merely surviving.
From my perspective, along with the respect for the choice of every individual for their own life, some practical elements are supposed to be consedered when selecting a lifestyle. And more often than not, financial condition has the major effect. In fact, what is perceived as the pursuit of the essence of life is merely a natural result of a better-off life. By that I mean, when a person is struggling for survival, under no circumstances will he or she go for seeking to exciments of adventures, which tend to be based on significant budget.
Overall, money is a decisive element for people to hold an attitude towards the likelihood of changing during their life, which has different meanings to different individuals.
