Please help us choose the best speaker for the audio version of 'English For Winners'. Below you'll find a sample recording by Dave Simmons. Please let us know how you evaluate his voice:

How motivated does he sound?
How easy is he to understand?
How do you like his accent and intonation?
Does he speak too slowly or too fast?

TOEIC listening, question-response: Do you live by yourself?

How motivated does he sound?-- Good motivation
How easy is he to understand?-- Very. He has few overtones. He 'over-enunciates', i.e. he clearly pronounces word endings (-ing, etc) and vowel sounds. This is very good for ease of listening but is not quite the challenge that natural speaking is.
How do you like his accent and intonation? -- It seems standard, 'non-regional' English to me. Intonation is in a good range.
Does he speak too slowly or too fast?-- Slightly slowed because of the enunciation (see above).

For me, his voice is good because I listen to what he says and not how he says it.

How easy is he to understand? -- Rather easy to understand.
How do you like his accent and intonation? -- Pleasant, and to me it doesn't sound he is stressing the continuous form too much.
Does he speak too slowly or too fast? -- Right in the middle.
