Hi everyone,

Please help us choose the best speaker for the audio version of 'English For Winners'. Below you'll find a sample recording by Scott Fortney. Please let us know how you evaluate his voice:

How motivated does he sound?
How easy is he to understand?
How do you like his accent and intonation?
Does he speak too slowly or too fast?

Many thanks,
Torsten

How motivated does he sound?

He has a great energy. It's very genuine.

How easy is he to understand?

His annunciation is spot-on accurate without sounding staccato. Again, he sounds very genuine and authentic. Excellent qualities for English lessons.

How do you like his accent and intonation?

His accent and intonation are excellent as he is speaking in the midwestern accent (non accent) and it is the most conducive accent for learning proper speech.

Does he speak too slowly or too fast?

The tempo is a perfect pace for conversational lessons.

On a side note, his enthusiasm and friendly tone adds interest and removes intimidation often generated in learning of this type. He has an ideal "presence" for learning and would recommend this voice.
