Dear Alijmz,
Welcome to english-test.net and many thanks for exchanging your experiences and ideas with us. When are you going to start The 30/30 Challenge.
Let me know what you think. Best regards, Torsten PS: You might want to start using a spell checker to reduce the amount of typos in your texts. For example, the words "your" does not exist in English.

Dear Torsten:
When I was eighteen, I did not want to learn English because I thought it was a kind of obligation. Some years later, I realized that language was great and poetic when listening to Allen Ginsberg during a poetry evening in Madrid in 1993. Short after that, I began to travel around the world and... you know... even in the smallest town of Mongolia anyone spoke English... So, from then on my English began to come along day after day... This is why now I am able to write this acrostic one:
Extraordinary because is not ordinary. Necessary because you cannot live without it. Great because it landed on the moon in 1969. Lovely because P.B. Shelley poetry has a lot of charm. Important because you can say I love you and you can be understood even in China. Superb because it is gorgeous. Humble because is for anyone..
Best regards, Enrique |

Hello
I need and I want to speak in English. I love the letter you sent to me. I really enjoy reading those short stories which I found very instructive.
I like answering the test, and that's improve my vocabulary. Your site is very helpful and easy to use. Thanks for sharing all this information with us, the learners.
I use the English language at work, and at home. I really need to improve my switch, that's means . switch very fast from English to French, and French to English. I'm a French native, but and English worker. I'm from Quebec in Canada, Quebec is the French part of the Canada.
Thanks Lise XXXX |

Hello Lise and welcome to english-test.net! We are very glad you like our site. Please tell us more about life in Quebec. How many people there speak English as their first language if any and how do you manage to keep the English and French languages apart?
Many thanks, Torsten

Hello Torsten,
I want to improve my English becouse languages belong among my hobbies and my favourite and the best known language is English. I learn it becouse of work, becouse I want to understand English songs and movies. I think that people who can speak English have big advantage. They understand people almost all over the world. Your websites are really good for improving but what I miss here is listening task. I would like to have here some listening podcasts about various themes done by native speakers. Becouse according to my oppinion listening is one of the best helper for improving. I know you have Sue's listening tasks, they are good, but very easy to understand. I would recommend something like thebobandrobshow.com.

Hi, I'm natasha. I teach English to the students aged 6-18 in my private class. That is why I need my English to be perfect. I use every oportunity to learn something new and useful for my work. The graduation tests in Belarus are very difficult ( for the children), they are full of peculiarities of the language, so I must improve my English as much as I can. |

Hi Torsten,
First of all let me thank you and your team for huge efforts you have put in order to improve our English.
With regards to your question, I want to improve my English language because now a days English is like a passport, you will not be able to improve, learn and move from one place to another without knowing it. My mother language is Arabic and I live in the Gulf. However, I can say that English is the first language here. Currently I work in a bank and my main job is to write some analytical reports to the management. In addition to that we have a lot of meeting with clients, and management team. So for me it is essential to speak and write properly. Frankly speaking, I like English language and I put a lot of efforts and time to improve it. that's why I subscribed in this site.
Thank you once again for your kind assistance.
Regards, Yousef |

Hi drquangsam,
How may I call you? What is your nickname?
I'm Alfred in Indonesia and would like to share a bit with you.
Based on what I've read, your spelling is great; although, I found a few minor mistakes in grammar. Overall, I think I can understand what you wanted to say from your post.
And isn't English about it? As long as you and others can understand each other......, though, we still need to improve our grammar.

Dear Torsten and all,
I have been offered a job at a school's R&D division, or what they referred to as "Curriculum Development".
Since they asked me to write an essay about it, can anyone please tell me about it?
