Why do you want to improve your English?

So, I would like to improve my English, for two reason. First: English is the more important language in all the world. Without English, you can't have a communication with any person who doesn't speak your mother languange. I like a lot making new friends, travel and of course studying another languange. English is one of them. Second: for my carrer English is totally necessary. In Brazil we have a lot of company which are becoming multinational, without English I can't do business. I hope you'll be able to undertand my English.

Hi all
I want to improve my English because I want to change another job. I leant English at hight shcool, but I realy didn't like Einglish. It was difficult for me to remember new words. When I go to work, I realize that English is very important. So I decided to learn English, the more I learn English the more I like it. But there were two problem for me is " listening" and "speaking". I can understand what the teacher said but they can't understand me.
I was trying to find method to solve these problem. finally, I found out the answer. My pronounce is terrible, that is the reason why my teacher don't unsterstand me.
I know some website teach pronounce but they are very simple.
I really to want improve my pronounce, please help me.

Well, I study english for 10 years already, and I had never gotten fluently at all. But now do need to be flu as I have a big professional oportunity. Besides of that, my country is going to host the Soccer World Cup and I think it may be very helpful to have fluently english. I simply don't know the best way to get it better and better, I try on everything, reading, listening, little writing and mainly little speaking as I don't have many oportunities to do it. I have tried to know people through skype and msn to chat by without any success... I tried to form a reading and speaking group at the college but nobody has showed any interest indeed. So, all I have now is the internet and so I'm here. I am studying at least one hour a day here and more one hour of listening. Although, I am not much confident to say I am really improving or anything like that. I dream of meeting someone to practice with me.

Yes i too want to improve my english because nowdays english has become very impotant everwhere . actually i am from india and there too noone want to speak in hindi even not in the houses. It has become a fashion to speak in english and if you dont follow the fashion its mean that you are not educated. so i want to improve my english so that i can be able to interact with them in english and make them undestand that i am too know english.

And one thing more that this is the online one site which is very good for learner because people can ask anything and get the answer soon. I APPRECIATED your efforts.

I want to improve my English because my work very need English. Everyday, I must write mail and read document by English very much and I want to find good job, too. However, I usually write wrong and I'm afraid of writing. I think, may be I have too little vocabulary or my grammar is very bad. For me English is a wonderfull language which I like so much , I wanna improve it in any situation cause I like challenge !!
In addition , when I succeded in The bacalaurea examn I 've chosen to study English in univercity
cause I like it so much At first my dream was to be an interpret but I couldn't study that filier cause its univercity it's so far from our house!

There are various of reasons why do I want to improve my English. I am not satisfied with my current knowledge. I am from Lithuania, the country, which belongs to third world countries.. Recently I moved to England, I am eager on studying in England, my dream is to become successful business manager. In order to do that I have to achieve full-fluency in English. I remember when I first came to England, I thought that there will be no problems with this language.. I was wrong, despite the fact that I was good at my school, it doesn't prove anything. You can never claim that you are very good before you don't try yourself in real life situations. In England I have to deal with different accents. Sometimes I can easily understand without any problems, but sometimes it might be so difficult to understand even those simple phrases.. Currently I work on my vocabulary, which I regard as the most important thing in English. I don't know what else I could do.. To me English language means Love ! may be sounds funny, but i mean it,i love English language ,it's superb, it's useful and It is the only language that can be used world wide. being able to speak , read and write and also surfing internet is one of the most important goals in our life.
I'd like to improve my English to have a better life and better job. i would like to translate many things from my own language to English and share it with other people,and that's why i am trying to improve my English.

I must be honest, I would like to speak English well because it's the most used language in the real and virtual (computer's) World, it is the first international language. Two and three years older classmates mocked him! In fact, his height was very short because of his age. The rest of pupils laughed at him. They even called him with nickname not with his real name. Then his mother advised him to be active. He inspired of his mother’s words. It’s a history of little boy trying to find his place among his older classmates. It’s the history of mine.
My mother is a teacher. She has a great experience teaching pupils and trust them to the future progress. I have never found anything stranger in her teaching style. I studied all subjects to excellent mark. At first, I learned English language without understanding how much it’s necessary for future life. I had aimed only to be the best of my class and school. After finishing the first year of my English course, my English language tutor awarded me with a “Praise List”. It was the first time I had seen the fruit of my labor. And that motivated me to learn english more.
Nowadays, english is a world language and a lot of people learning it. thanks in international education projects of the U.S. I have been learning english since my boyhood. And now i'm goin' to participate in the Global UGRAD program. i hope i can win this program. although it's very difficult stuff, i have already decided to participate in it. English language is one of the keys of getting world education! I think so.
