Hello,
I want to improve my english for different reasons. Firstable, I am living in the United State, so I need english language to be able to communicate with north americans people. Second, I have two bulingual children,"spanish-english," that they correct me all the time at home. Third, I am working as an enterpreter and translator, and I am a paraprofessional ELL from k-12 at the school. I really believe my reasons are very important. I feel like I don't have much choose. Also, I know that with everybody help and take the right test, I will be able to make it.
Thank you very much, Elliott |

| Here in the Philippines, same with Tagalog, we are using english as a medium of communication. In the office and in most formal places, we used english as our dialect. If you are fluent in speaking and writing english, you can easily establish a good status in the office since our reports must be written in english. It is easy to prepare write-ups or reports and I can easily express my knowledge and feelings I I know english. I believe that one of the primary component in meeting the ladder of my career is to be fluent in english. |

Hello Torsten, I think that I already know English, the reason I take part in this course is that I don't want to forget and is a challange for me to learn more at the moment, I relax doing the tests sometimes I find it entertaining. Sorry, I was passive on taking part on forums, but I don't have enough time to do that, this does't mean that I don't read them. I read the forum quite often. This course is very sufficient and effective for me. I thank you very much for sending me all the tests and suggestions. Respectfully Myberakos |

Hello Torsten, First of all the language was given to human beings for communication (sorry, if I'm wrong). The next thing, how I understand it is the same, untill today. I'm conservative and I keep it. I like languages and I like to know the deeper meanings of the words. It isn't just for work or for something. I like to read other members opinions, how they think and understand. I have found many things in the forum and I have answered them. I don't know maybe one day I'll ask for smething. Now I'm silent but not mute. Thank you, Allaminna |

I have a question about the following sentence.
1.Since I have been in high school, I have been using a computer and the internet to help me with my assignments
2.Since I was in high school, I have used a computer and the internet to help me with my assignments
Gramatically, I think that both "1" and "2" are corrects.
