I am wondering shouldn't it be something?<---Is it grammatically correct?

Also what is meant by somethings?

In this sentence 'some things' is correct - it means more than one (some) thing (plural - things).

Something - refers to one particular, but unspecified, thing.
'Somethings' is incorrect.

"some things" it means that more than one thing have occured between them.
It is correct in this sentence as it is 'some things' and not 'somethings'.
