Agree/ Disagree: Parents should encourage children to take part-time job to best prepare for their future.

Parents always want their children have best preparation for the future. There are many ways parents should do to help children get ready when they grow up. Some people think that parents should encourage children to take a part-time job to best prepare for their future. From my point of view, I totally agree with that statement. I think the part-time job will help children in improving some good skills and provide experience for their future career.

First and foremost, taking a part-time job when children are still going to school will upgrade some useful skills. When he/she works with other people, their communication skill and group-working skills will be improved. By observing people working around them, they can learn many skills like leader skill and decision-making skill. All skills are very important to anyone who wants to be a successful person in a specific area. Take my friend as an example; he worked as a waiter at the restaurant when he was in high school. He told me that the communication skill that he learnt from that time is very useful for him now. Because of good communication skills, he got a good job with high salary than his friends, who also work the same jobs.

Second, part-time job not only help children in earning money, it also give them much experience that are necessary for their future career. Those experiences are not only from the children, they also came from other people working with the children. Studying from success and fail of people and their selves will be very valuable for them in the future. For example, if I want to be a next Bill Gates in the future, the founder of a big technology company, I will learn programming and get the part-time job as a programmer at a small company now. The time working as programmer at that company will be very crucial for me when I start my own business afterwards because when I work at the technology, I will know that how to start a project, how to working effectively in a team, how to report my work and so on.

In summary, par-time job will help children in increasing their skills and experience. Therefore, parents should encourage them take the part-time job to have the best preparation in the future career. If in the future, I have children, I will support them do the same thing.
