As far as the developments that have changed the world at an amazing rate throught the history are concerned, the Internet is one of the most remarkable ones with the developments of the technology. Therefore, the Internet has provided great benefits but at the same time it also created new problems and inequlities. In my opinion, even if technology has been developing rapidly, some of the developments give rise to inevitable unfavorable consequences.

It has been argued that with the developments in computer technology, wasting time in front of the computer screen is on the rise. It can easily be said that students who are addicted to Internet cannot concentrate on their school works even though they find an oppurtunity to study. As a consequence, parents would rather just ignore the problem than actually handle it and this only makes the situation much worse.

Secondly, technology has reached such an advanced level that students have been accessing to certain web sites easily ,thanks to Internet, . Although certain web sites have been banned for individuals under the age of 18, they would want to enter such web sites. In order to prevent children from entering detrimental web sites as much as possible, censorship should be carried out by governments or their parents. that is to say, censorship has an crucial role in preventing children from certain harmful web sites. Since parents have difficulty in saving their children from injurious sites.

In contrast, opponents point out that the Internet offers innumerable oppurtunities to children. Thus, students should be encouraged by teachers or parents. It goes without saying that children who are using the Internet consciously benefit from useful web sites at a maximum level. Should people eradicate negative sides of technology, at the same time are able to remove the advantages for children.

All in all, the obvious conclusion to be drawn would be that developments which make life easy are likely to offer many oppurtunities such as reaching to useful information easily ,thaks to internet, . However, there are certain drawbacks of the technological tools, which bring about same problems. In my view, technology is unavoidable for children because they keep theit knowldge up to date.
