hi everybody
This is my second recorded voice message in the forum.I'm planing to take TOEFL test after one month and half. So i want to share with you my preparation plan for the test.
i will start with writing and i'll practice writing for 3 weeks until i see improvement. The speaking section is second also for 2 weeks. Those are the hardest sections for me. Then i'll try to practice on the CD that comes with The TOEFL book. There are maybe 6 sample for TOEFL test which include all of the exam sections (reading - listening - writing - speaking).
i will be grateful if anyone take the test before share with me his preparation plans , tips or any advice that will help me.

Hi Sweetcandle, your speech is very clear. You even sound like a machine =), so it’s hard to tell where are you from =). I took my TOEFL exam in December 10 and disappointed with my score (83). My tip is be prepared for distraction. I don’t know where you’ll take the test, but for me it was hard to concentrate during the TOEFL with people going in and out of the room, and to hear others saying their responses in different sections of the test.

Thanks for responding. And don't be disappointed i think 83 is not bad for the first time. I'm sure that u were nervous because i get too nervous and distracted when i heard noises in the exams room. I'll tried to be prepared for distractions although i'm not sure if i can handle it. What section did u found the hardest? for my self i think that the speaking and the writing sections are the hardest.
Thanks for sharing your experience and i hope u get a higher score in your next exam.
and about me sounding like a machine .. i guess it's a compliment so thanks isn't ? :p
i'm waiting for others to share their TOEFL exams preparation tips ... and guessing where i came from :P

TOEFL = Test of English as a Foreign Language.
this test evaluate your ability in use and understand English in academic studies. In my case i want to take the test because i want to study abroad and it's one of the college admission requirement.
