I can surely say that my favorite place in the whole town is my desk with a computer standing on it. I can sit beside it immense hours, though I get very tired and red eyes, like a vampire, my friends often call me like that. And of course it was just a joke (but sometimes I really feel like it’s true).
Actually I don’t have any special favorite place in my town. The cause of it may be the changes that occurred in our city during a couple years. I can’t see the same place by the same way. So many beautiful places and each one bring me some memory of things that we used to do in childhood. Coming there every time make me to fall into a dream and think about the things that was, and still is precious for me and people that is dear to me. But looking on them, renewed and rebuilt, I don’t feel the connection between us anymore.
But I must add that I appreciate all the changes that happening. Because every change brings something new and life doesn’t seems boring anymore. So for the future of our town and country, I think, I can deal with these changes. Well, everything needs to be developed and nothing is eternal.
Just for example I can write some places where we, me and my friends, always gather before going for a walk. It of course must be a centre of the city. There are two the most important metro stations Sahil and Icheri Sheher. They are the nearest stations to the most interesting entertainment places. Well, I can say that the most popular place for the citizens and the tourists first of all is Torgovaya. There is always a crowd of people walking along the Fountain Square watching the ripples of the water from the extraordinary beautiful fountains. Also we love our parks very much because it is a good place for relaxing. Green carpets of grass covered with colored flowers, the quiet noise of the fountain water, wooden branches make you feel a little as you are in the countryside and just please the eyes. And it will be not fair not to mention the oldest part of the city, Icheri Sheher. There is a huge ancient wall round it, and inside beautiful old streets with roads and houses in style of time when it was built. It is very quiet there and pleasant to walk just in silence looking at the architecture around you.
Thanks for the changes that happened in our city that we have so much places to have a rest and have a good time with each other.
