No, that is incorrect. The correct version is
Perhaps you and I can hang out together, if you guys don't mind.
Also, you should say "thanks in advance" _________________ If it's not easy, don't do it!

All I can say is that the author of that sentence could use a couple of lessons in English. The grammar of most of the sentences is flat out appalling for lack of a better word. But wait, better stick around for confirmation or repudiation from the teachers. I'm not a teacher. =)

"Thanks in forward" is incorrect I think. At least, I've never encountered it in my life. _________________ If it's not easy, don't do it!
