Since I can't find a direct translation of this word in my native language, I tried to use it in the sentences. I'd like to ask if I used it correctly?

*The newly and artistically redesigned peso bills/notes are being touted for its new design and color. Nonetheless, some experts have found errors on them.

*I nixed my wife's idea to buy that TV although it has been touting as the slimmest in the in world.

*Although it is too far-fetched to believe, the drug is touted to have an aphrodisiac effect.
