Attending a live performance or watching the same event on TV ? #1 (permalink) Thu Dec 23, 2010 14:38 pm   Attending a live performance or watching the same event on TV ?

Kitos, this is my second essay in day. I hope that it will make you feel pleasure as you had with my last work. Thank you so much!

Some people argue as if it is general truth that watching sporting events, concerts, or rehearsals on television is more enjoyable than attending the same performances in person. To be frank, I cannot agree with them. Except when I do not have enough time, I always readily pay money for tickets to have room in live events, especially when my favorite singers, footballers present at those events. Some reasons below may explain to you why I am eager to spend money on this interest although expense for it is not cheap at all.

First, attending a live performance opens occasions to make new friends. And I believe that friendships built relying on sharing same interests are durable relationships. It is clear that when I go to watch a live show of my favorite singers, I will meet peers who also admire these divas. They love music and they assuredly have a collection of my divas’ music albums. Therefore, making friends with them, I can exchange song disks. Another example is that I like going to gym to lift weights every evening. One day, I have chance to go to watch a weightlifting contest and meet other guys who share the same hobby. Making friends with them, I will know the best places for practicing this sport and have companions. Honestly, weightlifting is sometimes a little boring for me so having friends playing together with is wonderful. In the both example, as you can see, attending live performance is very ideal for making friends. By enjoying some same interests, we will have strong friendships with nice memories.

Besides, attending a live performance, I have chances to take photos with my idols and obtain their signatures. People who only stay at home and watch performances on television will never have these presents. Last year, when Vietnam football team won Suzuki Champion Cup, I was luckily in My Dinh stadium to witness that bright spot in the history of my home team. After right the referee blew his whistle, the entire crowd including me from stadium stands dived into the grass ground to cheer the victory. A vast of red sea was laced with fever and with the joyousness that Vietnam was the new sunset of Asian football. This brought to me an exhilarating feeling which would follow all my life. Moreover, I happily had the privilege of taking some photos with main characters of the game- heroes of my nation in an unforgotten night – football stars in my heart. And when I posted these pictures on Facebook, there were dozens of my friends envying me for these photos and they prolonged other carnival in my pride.

In a word, watching events on television is gratifying, but there are reasons watching live performances are preferable. Hence, the next time you plan to take part in outdoor events but feel difficult to find a passenger, please not hesitate to send a message or give a call to me. I will be ready go with you and pleasure to buy tickets for the both if you are a pretty girl :).
