Hi All,
Is that correct,if I say "our country is EU member", or I have to say "member of EU"?
I think the first is good too, so let's see what You guys say.
Thanks,
Spencer

EU member state? #2 (permalink) Fri Mar 10, 2006 15:55 pm   EU member state?

Hi Spencer, welcome back. Take a look at these:

Our country is a member of the EU.
Our country is an EU member.
Our country is an EU member state.
Hungary is an EU country.
Hungary is an EU member state.

Alan has written a good story on the use of the English Articles.

By the way, what has changed in your life since Hungary joined the EU?
Regards
Nicole
