Should we listen to the opinions of famous people

When famous people such as actors, athletes and rock stars give their opinions, many people listen. Do you think we should pay attention to these opinions? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Famous people are those who achieved success in life, gained popularity and recognition and became outstanding. The way they became famous can be a bright example for others to follow. While some people might consider the opinions of rock stars, athletes or actors valueless, others might follow their advices. Personally, I am more inclined to think that people should pay attention to these opinions.
First, famous people gain their popularity through hard work and they can give some advice on how to be persistent and never give up. No matter, if these people achieved success in the world of music or sport, it is obvious, that they worked a lot throughout the years to reach their goals. They also might have lost several times before they won or became recognized. For example, a famous Ukrainian football player, Andrei Shevchenko had been training a lot before he became a successful champion. Even though he had got injuries, he never gave up and kept on improving his skills. Thus, Shevchenko is one of the most talented sportsmen in today's world.
In addition, famous people can share with others some valuable secrets of a successful lifestyle. As a rule, celebrities who have gained popularity had a lot to go through. Even though people might have a lot of theoretical knowledge about how to be successful, they would definitely need a real-life example to make sure that all they know or have heard has already been tried by others. Usually famous people are becoming those models due to their successful experience. For example, a famous designer, Coco Chanel, who revolutionized the aspect of women's fashion, starting her career as a shop-owner and after a while succeeding as one of the most influential designers in the world, might be a good model to follow on this point.
To summarize, famous people have their own ways of life that can be good or not. But, before blindly following everything that can be said by famous people, others should consider if this or that person can be a good model for them. Though we cannot praise or laud famous people and listen to every word they say, some of their advices could be very helpful for us. The main point is to be selective and remember that even the most successful people cannot be perfect.
