I played hide-and-seek lots of times when I was a kid. Normally we played this game in a park or in a building with lots of rooms. The whole process was like... one of us,called the seeker, searched around for the hiders. The game started with the seeker covering his or her eyes and counting to 100 while everyone else ran off and found a place to hide.
When the counting was finished, the seeker began a painstaking search for the hiding kids. And that was my favorite part of the game, the highlight... you know, the climax, coz the suspense was just so intense. The hiders could really hold their breath, being afraid of getting caught. But then, there was always someone who got caught and this person would become the next seeker...
Hide-and- seek was fun because it was simple. These days we play PSP games and get fun from our iPods. But sometimes I really miss those simple pleasures in life.

Zial, in English, the person you called the "seeker" is called "it". The child who is "it" has to look for the other children. The first one who gets caught will be "it" for the next round.
