hi, kitos please help me to correct my essay.
There has been a great struggle between people as well as nature since human beings' first appearance on the earth. Many countries have been confronted with earthquakes which are natural disasters that have serious effects on the lives of individuals. After a disaster people find themselves homeless and many disasters result in numerous deaths and casualties.
To commence with, one of the most severe effects of disasters is that many people die or may get injured. In the MARMARA earthquake for instance, a wide region was affected and a lot of buildings collapsed. They became graves for people who lived there. There are individuals who may be considered lucky owing to their survival, but they will live with the effects of that earthquake. Perhaps they will remain disabled. In brief, all the people who experienced a disaster like that encountered a lot of problems which are really difficult to solve.
Another important effect of disasters is that people will remain homeless. Their house collapses or turned into ruins making them impossible to live in. Therefore, many people have to live outside in tents. People there are subject to cold, rain, diseases. They cannot find the comfort of their homes. Moreover, there is not enough food. Adults can endure hunger, but children cannot. In addition there is no clean water to drink.
To conclude, earthquakes are natural and inevitable. It has serious and painful effects on peoples' lives. These individuals have to live outside in misery, having no food, or clothing. Many of them die, and the survivors encounter many problems, which are really difficult to handle. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Good work Retnokisnon.
