Almost throughout history, gambling is indispensable fact which people could not give up. In this respect, there is general discussion, today, on the issue of whether gambling should be legalized in turkey or not. Some aouthorities advocate that it should be legalized because of economical worries. However, gambling definitely should not be legalized in turkey. As, there is no benefit to us, on the contrary, there are a lot of negative aspects of gambling in terms of gambling againist social and religious values and it may lead to family disaster.

To begin with againist social and religious, religious and social values are arised for numerous years by people and they take their origin from the history of people. Therefore, they play significant role in people's lives. To illustrate, individuals determine their attitudes and behaviors according to social and religious values. In this sense, almost all society, gambling is regarded as one of the most destructive activities in the world. Moreover, almost all religions,such as; Jewishness, Islam and Christianity, say that gambling is such an cursed activity that people should not turn to it.

When it comes to leading to family disaster, it is undisputable fact that, in recent years, divorce rates has increased rapidly all around the world. There are many reasons why divorce rates has increased. Such as, economical conditions, social changes etc. Nevertheless, researches indicate that gambling is one of the primary reasons why people determine to divorce. In brief, gambling brings about to raise the likelihood of divorce.

Some people opposition to this idea, on the other hand, claim that gambling should be legalized because of the fact that it would create new source of income. Hovewer, they turn a blind eye a point that sometimes, money has no mean like in this case. Unfortunately, capitalism gives rise to numerous difficult effects on people. They may prefer personal benefits at the expense of social or religions values. In addition, even if gambling is legalized, our state or society could not derive benefit from it because of the fact that the companies which are engage in gambling have no social or religious values. They are only interested in their revenues. Eventually, there is a old saying that there is no winner in the game, case always get the profits.

All in all,taking everything into consideration, it can obviously concluded that there are great controversies among people whether gambling should be legalized or not. In my opinion, it should not be legalized due to the reasons which are mentioned above. Finally, it is essential to say that the less gambling casino we open, the better social conditions will be.
