Dear Mr. Kitos Thank you in advance for your correction. I really appreciate your help:)
(Friends are the most important influence on young adults) There are lots of questions on the table whether friends are the most important influence on young adults, or other people like family are. I personally agree with the statement that friends are the most important influence on young adults. There are two major reasons.
To begin with, young adults build their characters by mixing with their friends. Young adults want to fit in with other people to be one of the members of the group. They change their standards of behavior or attitudes, although these are contradictory to their own conviction, to fit with others. As they think in a different way and behave differently from their own conviction, they get accustomed to these different thoughts and different behavior as time goes by. So depending on what kind of friends they hang out with, young adults may change their characters. For example, my sister was shy and she was always afraid of talking with other people, but when she attended junior high school and met friends who became her best friends, her personality changed perceivably. Her friends were very active and they participated in every extra-curricular activity and clubs in school. As my sister was hanging out with them she became an active girl and followed her friends and participated in lots of clubs in school. She was changed. In this sense, friends are the most important influence on young adults. On top of that, friends understand each other the most. When young people are getting older and becoming young adults, they become very sensitive and are insubordinate to their parents . They get a lot of stress from various aspects in life, like about their appearances, school works, and relationships with others. Young adults do not feel comfortable talking about their issues, especially relationship related problems, with their family and even if they tell their family, their family find it difficult to understand and do not give good advice. So they go and consult with their friends. Since their friends are having similar issues and have the same or similar ages, they understand well, and give them good advice that young adult people need to listen to. According to a recent survey, young adults usually talk more with their friends about their school life and relationship than with their parents or other family, because their fiends understand them the most. In this sense, friends are the most important influence on young adults. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Very good work TYLone.
