If I had gone there, I would have drunk all night
If I had gone there, I would have been drinking all night

Am I so wrong for the second sentence sounds to me more correct?

Both are perfectly acceptable.
The difference is so subtle that most native English speakers don't even think about it, so the phrases are interchangeable.
The difference to me:
the second (the one more natural to you) emphasises the action of drinking;
the first emphasises the time that you would be drinking for.
