Goodbye to 2010.

It won't be very difficult for 2011 to outshine 2010. The year started badly, and progressed downhill as the months slowly dragged past. Keeping a smile on my face was a mammoth task as every month became even more of a burden. The passing of my mother the previous year was still pressing heavily on my mind. It was only the glorious summer weather that we had that eased my depression somewhat. I was able to get out early in the mornings with my canine friends, and the sunlight evaporated the nights gloom.
Losing little Becky was like a hammer-blow that will take some getting over.
Here's hoping that 2011 will see a turnaround in my fortunes. They say, "What goes around comes around", but whatever it is, it is certainly taking its time in coming.

Kitos, you don't know how much I look up to you. Every difficulty or trouble you went through, I know I always find more or less optimism in the way you dealt with these things. I hope from the bottom of my heart that you will have a better time in this year. I think many people do not have persons or things around themselves to love or lose. Many people do no be loved by other people. I think you are so lucky to have had many many things and people around yourself that either you have loved them or they have loved you or both.
