Is it better to marry someone who is similar to you, rather than different to you #1 (permalink) Sat Jan 01, 2011 20:12 pm   Is it better to marry someone who is similar to you, rather than different to you

Hi!
This is my next essay.
================================================================
Is it better to marry someone who is similar to you, rather than different to you.
================================================================
We live in the world where each of us looks like an individual person. But it is also quite obvious that people can be divided into different groups according to their characters, their attitude to a different circumstances in life and, of course their creed. I think that it's better to marry someone who is different to you, because as I think it makes life more interesting and unusual.

First of all I would like to say that if your spounse has the similar character to you, and, from many points of view looks very similar to you, your future life will be so prophetical, even non interesting. I think it can lead to losing impetus in couple's life. Imagine, if you know everything about your girlfriend or boyfriend, you know it from yourself, because you are similar to your second half. So, there is no way to get new experience, knowledge through interaction with your partner, just a mundane life without developing you as a person.

Secondly, it seems to me not a mistake if you marry someone who is different from you. I have a perfect example in my family. My parents look very different from each other. My mother is kind of a shy person, she does everything accurately and diligently, she doesn't like sport. But my father is very active, sociable, gregarious person who likes sports. He is always doing everything carelessly! In spite of it they are very happy of being together, I see that, and I am happy too.

In order to summarize my ideas I would like to say that there are a lot of criterias which we consider when we are looking for our second half, so as to create a ideal couple. For me it is an important thing if your second half is different from you, because I am kind of a person who needs to discover, to learn more through family life.

First of all, I would like to say that if your spouse has the similar character to you, and, from many points of view looks very similar to you, your future life will be so prophetical, even BORING. I think it can lead to losing impetus in A couple's life. Imagine, if you know everything about your girlfriend or boyfriend. You know it from yourself, because you are SO similar to your OTHER half. So, there is no way to get new experience OR knowledge through interaction with your partner, just a mundane life without YOUR developing you as a person.

Secondly, it seems to me not a mistake if you marry someone who is different from you. I have a perfect example in my family. My parents look very different from each other. My mother is kind of a shy person, she does everything accurately and diligently, she doesn't like sport. But my father is A very active, sociable, gregarious person who likes sports. In order to summarize my ideas I would like to say that there are a lot of criteria THAT we OUGHT TO consider when we are looking for our second half, so as to create aN ideal couple. For me it is an important thing if your second half is different from you, because I am THE kind of a person who needs to discover, to learn more through family life.
