I am really hoping to see an improvement in the work of you all this New Year. You still have a limit of two essays a day, but if you feel you need to write only one per day to show an improvement, so much the better. The vast majority have it within them to write really good essays about their topics. Take your time. Think what you want to say. Think about how you intend to say it, then review it in your mind once more before beginning to write. Scores will be more stringently applied this year. Poor work will be scored as low as six. If you get nine, which is going to be really difficult, make sure you write even better in your next essay. Your goal is TEN, always strive for it. It is achievable, and all of you have the ability to achieve it. Remember what I have said repeatedly ... reading is your way forward.
If anyone submits a second essay without awaiting the edit of the first, then both essays will be ignored. All corrections will be done so that you can easily find them by reviewing the edit. You don't have to rewrite your work, just make sure that you don't repeat the same mistake again. If you still have not mastered punctuation, then spend an hour or so in doing so. It isn't brain surgery ... just do it! Topic titles should be checked for correctness. Posts without topic titles will also be ignored. _________________ Keep it simple ... Keep it interesting. |

Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In his/her THEIR life, every person confronts the question whether he/she THEY should live in a small city or a big city. Both of them have some advantages. Personally, I THINK living in a big city has more advantages than living in a small city. The most important advantages of living in a big city are THE POSSIBILITIES OF findING any job easily, to utilize the possibilities of social and sports events and to recognize COME INTO CONTACT WITH more people who belong to diverse cultures.
Big cities provide many opportunities about finding any works TO FIND SUITABLE WORK. There are a lot of companies and shops in big cities. They serve many goods and services for many people. in big cities. Accordingly, their quantities and capacities are more MUCH higher than the companies and shops in smallER cities. have. This means that there are many job opportunities in big cities. For example, New York City, one the biggest cities IN the United States, has many companies in the all segment of businesses including financial, banking, entertainment etc. However, Tallahassee, one of the smallest cities in the United States, has ONLY a few companies in a few segmentS of businesses. Therefore, most of American people prefer to find IT EASIER TO FIND any jobs easiER and TO make money in New York.
To spend time by entertaining on social and sports events, big cities give many chances for us. Primarily, every time many sports events are arranged in big cities, because sports clubs would like to create money through the high population. For instance, the biggest football club IN Turkey IS Istanbul , the biggest and most populous city of Turkey. In addition to this, artistic and huge social activities such as popular dance shows, theater plays are occurr in big cities. The biggest cause of this situation is that rich people of any country commonly live in big cities. Thus, small cities which do not have ENOUGH rich people enough cannot contribute to these activities. New York is the A good example of this idea. Broadway plays, most popular and THE MOST famous shows FROM AROUND the world are presented in this city. Additionally, art galleries which exhibit the most significant artworks are generally in New York.
Thanks to big cities, everyone can recognize different cultures. Principally, big cities are very attractive for touristic flows. Hence, a lot of people who live in everywhere ELSEWHERE in the World come to big cities to spend their holidays. It provides some occasions to meet with other people. By virtue of this situation, everyone CAN find out any information about other cultures. By way of illustration, consider Paris which is one the most touristic citIES in the world. For tourists, there are a lot of restaurants, clubs and cafes which symbolize Arabic, Turkish, Latin and African customs. Consequently, everyone easily learns any culture and meetS with many people.
To sum up, everyone can have many possibilities in big cities rather than small cities, especially WHEN getting SEEKING a job, spending time through social and artistic activities, sharing feelings and ideas with people who originate from OTHER cultures have a simple way IS MUCH EASIER TO DO in big cities.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Far too long and too many mentions of "cities." Try to be a little more concise. Break down your ideas into smaller, more compact groups. Basically the workwas good, but disorganised. Random ideas that could have been far better organised.
