What is your opinion about a success of a team: does it depend on mental attitude of the whole team or on the strongest individuals?

In this modern age, team work plays an essential role to success. A good team could fully exploit ability of every member in the team. Obviously, there are several necessary qualities to a good team, such as good mental attitude, strong individuals, and good leader, and good mental attitude and strong individuals are especially basic to the success.

Good mental attitude means self-confident, optimism and willingly cooperative in a team. In the first place, self-confidence is the foundation to success. That is, only if members in the team are all self-confident, it would be possible to arouse their potential ability. Contrarily, one who is not confident in a team would become the weakness in their whole work. Also, optimism is important because person with this attitude would always be positive to his/her work. Those people would never give up and their companions would easily get a good mood and confidence from them. What is more, the job of a team whose individuals are negative to co-work with each other would be hardly continued. It is believed that sharing ideas and organizing effectively together can make work more efficiency.

At the same time, influence coming from a few stronger individuals cannot be overlooked. For instance, in case of debate and different idea occurred, it would be resolved more easily with the assistance of stronger individuals. In other circumstances, such like facing to a tough problem, the idea always comes from stronger individuals and they could give useful inspiration to their partners.

Therefore, when comes to the argument that success depends on mental attitude or strongest individuals, the conclusion would be both of them are significant after my analysis. Without either the formal or the later, works would be failure eventually.
