Dear Alan
Can you do me a favour to adjust my application letter? Due to I am planning to take up a FCE examination and I am not sure if my writing skill is good enough to pass the exam, so I really need to practice a lot. Here is one of my writing lesson. Thanks in advance for your help ^^
Here is the information:
Question
You have seen the following job advertisement on the local language maganize:
CLUB ORGANISER NEEDED!
(Monday and Wednesday evenings only)
Our language school is looking for a person to help organise a Film Club for students of English. Our Film Club will meet twice a week to watch a film in English followed by a discussion of the film.
• Do you have some knowledge of English?
• Do you like working with groups of people?
• Are you interested in films?
If you think you would be a suitable person to organise our Film Club then we would like to hear from you. Please send a letter to the school owner saying why you are suitable for the job.
Write your letter of application to the school owner. (around 120-180 words)

Re: Club organizer vacancy
Dear Sir/ Madam
I am writing in response to your advertisement in the local language magazine on 11 March 2006. It appears that you are looking for a person to help organize a film club for English students. I am very interested in it and would like to have an opportunity to interview.
As you will see from my enclosed CV which shows that I have been learning Communication English for 5 years in an International Language School and also have got a certificate in Commercial English. With my easy-going, sociable and patient personalities I am willing to participate in any discussion and ready to open to further opinions. So recently, I have been engaged a part time job as an assistant consultant by the school owner. It means that I have had a very good knowledge in English as well as the experience to leading a group of people.
Moreover, in order to effectively improve my listening skill I would rather to spend my times on watching American films and International News than the local. So finally, thing I would like to cover is that I am very interested in working as a film organizer and also believe that I would be suitable for the post mentioned.
I am looking forward to hearning from you soon,
Yours faithfully,
Kelly

Re: Club organizer vacancy
Dear Sir/ Madam
I am writing in response to your advertisement in the local language magazine on (DATED) 11 March 2006. It appears (YOU SAY) that you are looking for a person to help organize a film club for English students. I am very interested in (SUCH A POST) it and would like to have an (THE) opportunity to (OF AN) interview.
As you will see from my enclosed CV, which shows that (LEAVE OUT WHICH SHOWS THAT) I have been learning Communication English for 5 years in an International Language School and also (I HAVE ALSO GOT) have got a certificate in Commercial English. With my easy-going, sociable and patient personalities (PERSONALITY SINGULAR) I am willing to participate in any discussion and ready to (BE) open to further opinions. So recently, I have been engaged a part time job (ON A PART-TIME BASIS) as an assistant consultant by the school owner. It means that I have had(ACQUIRED) a very good knowledge in (OF) English as well as the(NO ARTICLE) experience to (IN)leading a group of people.
Moreover, in order to effectively improve my listening skillS I would rather to (NO TO)spend my times (TIME) on (NO ON) watching American films and International News than the local (FILMS). So finally, thing (ONE FINAL POINT I SHOULD LIKE TO MENTION IS THAT) (I would like to cover is that) I am very interested in working as a film organizer and also (CONSEQUENTLY) I believe that I would be suitable for the post mentioned.
I am looking forward (I LOOK FORWARD TO) to hearning (HEARING) from you soon,
Yours faithfully,

Alan
