Most of us believe that it is important to protect the environment but few of us make efforts to achieve this goal. What are the causes of this phenomenon and what are your solutions?
Answers:
Many citizens agree that the environment needS to be protected for our next generations and our living standards, While the facts are YET they ARE reluctant TO pay any price to realize the ideal goal. There are many reasons attributing to the dilemma. The first is people should throw away some materialistic pleasureS as they pursue the effects of environmental maintenance. Local residents ought to learn the methods of disposing wastes and sorting them out SORTING AND DISPOSING OF HOUSEHOLD WASTE. That process would take SAVE them much energy and time. Furthermore, our educational system does not inculcate enough knowledge and skills to the young in coping with the environmental issueS. Most people have the resolutions RESOLVE to beautify the environments around them, but they find it HAVE difficultY in KNOWING how to get the work done when confronting with real problems.
Finally, comparing with the issue of employMENT rateS and salary level, the authorities keep little focus on the environment one because of its lessER urgency. Many worker unionS organized protest demonstrationS to claim for higher salaries and less working time, but few of them would like to join the same DEMONSTRATION for environmental protection. The former are relating to their present interests, but the environmental crisis will loom in the next decades. If allowed to choose once between them, most people would prefer the present rather than the future. There are many solutions to the dilemma.
Initially, on the benefits of present and future, I advise that we should prepare well before the disasters really come. Some scientists predict if the carbon discharge level continues as AT present, our homeland would be flooded in the near future. Although petrol companies argue against it, we still should keep alert and take immediate measures, because we (cannot) afford the price once the prediction turns into reality. Secondly, we should perfect our educational systems by adding to some knowledge about protecting the environments, and eliminate some clichés THAT ARE out of date. Last, the establishing of politics which balance each class interests would eventually blow AWAY the black clouds on that issue. To sum up, I believe the environmental issues are not easy to handle. In order to give our next generations clear skIES, cleaN air and rivers, we should coordinate all the efforts from the whole society regardless of how difficult it would be. ............................................................................................................................. Not bad Daniel, but you cannot say, "Finally," and then go on to write two lengthy paragraphs. You write very well and you have a good grasp of vocabulary.
