I have corrected my essay. So what about this one, Mr Kitos?

Few things in the digital time have such great influence on people as the mass media does. Being besieged with television, films and the internet, one can easily conclude that the media is a blessing to human society, offering affluent entertainment and information, and media has made communications easier, quicker and more comfortable. Following are some reasons to illustrate my viewpoint.

Compared with past times, when work and studying were the main things that one could do, our life nowadays really has been improved by media. This is because media, like films, give us more options to choose whatever we love. Children are watching animation movies; women are falling in love with stories and men are fighting in war movies---anyone is able to fulfill their fantasy. Thus, they absolutely color our lifestyle in innumerable ways.

Mass media has provided us a window to the world. We rely on the media to learn the current news and facts about what are important. By that useful information, we are capable of reaping the rewards of e-business, receiving the suggestion to make our reasonable decisions, and paving the way for knowledge absorbing. The media, indeed, makes a big difference in enhancing the general knowledge by providing us with information from all over the world.

Media gives a wonderful platform FOR PEOPLE to exchange their views over different issues. By sharing information with one another, media has brought out easy ways of communication and provided us to make connect with people from different places. For instance, we can hear Haitian people voice their fears about the situations and problems after the earthquake. Then the volunteers and donators from all over the world can help them in the right way. Moreover, I also try to look at things from different perspectives and not just from the one standpoint.

Media has become a part of our lives, and one cannot imagine life without these things---media is ubiquitous. In other words, media has proved blissful---we enjoy entertainment, knowledge and connecting with others in an enjoyable swift and vivid way.

I am really hoping to see an improvement in the work of you all this New Year. You still have a limit of two essays a day, but if you feel you need to write only one per day to show an improvement, so much the better. The vast majority have it within them to write really good essays about their topics. Take your time. Think what you want to say. Think about how you intend to say it, then review it in your mind once more before beginning to write.
Scores will be more stringently applied this year. Poor work will be scored as low as six.
If you get nine, which is going to be really difficult, make sure you write even better in your next essay. Your goal is TEN, always strive for it. It is achievable, and all of you have the ability to achieve it.
Remember what I have said repeatedly ... reading is your way forward.

If anyone submits a second essay without awaiting the edit of the first, then both essays will be ignored. All corrections will be done so that you can easily find them by reviewing the edit. You don't have to rewrite your work, just make sure that you don't repeat the same mistake again.
If you still have not mastered punctuation, then spend an hour or so in doing so. It isn't brain surgery ... just do it!
Topic titles should be checked for correctness. Posts without topic titles will also be ignored.

OK, let's look forward to a really successful New Year, with lots of brilliant essays being turned in.
