Every year, millions of animals are exposed to painful suffering or death as a result of scientific research into the effects of drugs. It can definitely be asserted that animal testing is one of the most widespread methods to discover new medicines. While most people think animal testing is necessary, others are upset by what they see as needless suffering. It can clearly be seen that people should not turn a blind eye that animal testing is of great significance in terms of new discoveries for health as well as scientific improvements for human being.

To commence with, by testing animals, scientific improvements have emerged for human being. Many medical treatments and procedures have been developed from experiments on animals. Inasmuch as, certain animals share many features with humans, scientists use animals to test the safety and the effectiveness of newly developed drugs before testing on people. As a consequence, animal testing is so important to discover scientific improvements for human being.

When it comes to new discoveries for health for people, medical teams practice new operating techniques such as transplants on animals. Without animal testing, many procedures or new drugs would be extremely detrimental. Animal testing constitutes the backbone of new discoveries for health of people. That is to say, animal testing is of great importance to set a stage for discovering new medicines.

In contrast, some people in opposition to this idea, on the other hand, claim that animals are suffering unnecessarily and cruelly. They do not believe that every new drugs need to be tested on animals, especially with the huge database of knowledge and modern computer models. The view may seem to be true at first glance, but they miss one significant point that animal testing are relatively painful for them, yet, should scientists discover new procedures or drugs by experiments on animals, the number of people are likely to be pass away owing to undiagnose diseases.

All in all, the obvious conclusion to be drawn would be that scientists who intend to heal certain diseases what is necessary is animal testing that is really necessary for human being. Animal testing brings along serious benefits the most remarkable of which are new discoveries for health of people together with scientific improvements for human being.
