Nowadays radio is being replaced TV and the Internet. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is important to outline that this question is very versatile which needs a serious research. At the same time, there are some remarkable facts, which influence the popularity of radio in society. The problem is that people, in many cases, choose the most convenient source of information, and also more comprehensive kinds of the media are situated by society at the main places. However, even in the present time radio saves its positions among particular groups of people.
In the world, there are different kinds of sources of information, such as newspapers, TV, radio etc. However, the rate of life cannot be stopped, and it shows new horizon in the world of information. This is the main reason why conventional sources of information, such as radio have being replaced by the Internet or TV. For instance, using radio people are not able to see a screen or to read something as additional information. It is not surprisingly that in this situation people prefer to watch TV and to use the Internet.
One of the most vital feature of democracy is the opportunity to see different opinions and positions to the same issue. At the same time, the Internet and TV provide much more possibilities to realise this freedom. Moreover, using the Internet people can participate in the creation of information, and this fact is a very attractive option, especially for young people. This is the area when Radio is not able to rival equally with TV and the Internet.
Fortunately, radio has found the fields where it is still irreplaceable. Many drivers prefer to listen to the radio during their travel, and also millions of learners of foreign languages think that radio is the tool, which can help them to improve their listening. For example, I am trying to listen to BBC Radio 4 or 5 times per week.
In conclusion, I want to emphasise the key points of the present discussion. The radio it is not the media which can be called as state of the art, and this is the reason why radio has been losing its fight with TV and the Internet. At the same time, radio can be very beneficial, for example, for learners of English, and this fact does not make the future of radio so grim.
