Topic: It is often not a good thing to move to a new city or a new country because of the losing of old friends.
An increasing number of individuals incline to regard moving to a new city or a new country as a negative thing, because of their losing friends. Indeed, it seems that moving to a new place, to some extent creates a barrier for contacting friends. However, resident in a new location will open individuals up to a bunch of new friendships and vast opportunities. I definitely oppose the statement and reckon that the merits of moving to a new place far outweigh the drawbacks of DOING SO.
First of all, advance technology helps people stay in touch with their former friends conveniently, which makes the distance between two places is not a major concern. In fact, with the development of technology, a series of powerful communication tools have emerged in our modern life; and the (I)nternet is the most prominent one among them. With the assistance of THE (I)nternet, people can instantaneously access to contact their friends via chat programs, such as QICQ or MSN, at the time when they have some news to tell to friends. Furthermore, people can create personal pages on websiteS, such as Facebook. On the one hand, it allows people to share their daily interesting news or latest photos with their friends, and chat with them in the groups about past unforgettable events. On the other hand, it provides people an avenue to acquire recent news of their friends. Thus, the (I)nternet bridges the gap between two faraway places, and enables people maintain harmonious friendships harmonious.
In addition to the previous pointS, compared to living in a single location, moving to a new place guarantees people more opportunities. Normally, a new place means new source of friends. A PERSON will encounter AN enormous number of new residents, ranging from workmates to neighbors. THE majority of them are likely to be new friends. Moreover, dwelling in a new location offers people a precious chance to experience an entirely different life style and culture. For example, when I move to America, I can undergo various native festivals, like Thanksgiving Day and Christmas, and learn the procedure of ceremony which is purely A novelty TO me at the moment. Meanwhile, by traveling around, I can taste different kinds of distinct food, see rare animal species and view spectacular sights. People have to take a different occupation when living in a new city; new colleagues bear totally different knowledge and perspectives. By exchangING ideas with them, people can replenish their knowledge which is fundamental for THEIR future career.
In sum, people should not refuse to move to a new place, since they will not lose their former friends thanks to high technology tools, but they will get more new friends. Moving to a new place also offers them an efficient means to learn new things. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: A great improvement Ganhui.
