"Realize" is American and British spelling.
"Realise" is only British spelling.
Other than that there's no difference.

Yes, Our executive director's talking sounds irish and when he writes he use "s" instead "z" like; realise or analyse - instead - realize or analyze.

No, "realise" isn't used instead of "realize". It must be "realise".
"Realize" is used instead of "realise" in some varieties of English.
