Could you please correct my essay?
Thank you in advanced. =) |
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Movies and televisions should always show audiences good people are being rewarded and bad people are being punished.
In the modern society, the resources of information that people get are mostly from various media. Therefore, these information which be IS conveyed by THE media HAS a big effect forON people. Some people think that the ways they learn what they can do and can’t do are from daily life rather than movies and televisions. However, others disagree with the idea. In my opinions, I think movies and televisions should let people to know what thing that people can do and can’t do.
To begin with, by movies and televisions, people can exactly know the criteria of rewards or punishments. Because these information will be monitored by people. They will suffer blame and scold when giving the wrong views about rewards and punishments. For example, it is absolutely impossible for us to see any dramas which are played on movies or televisions that a person who kills other people can get awards rather than go to a jail. On the other hand, if people learn the principle of judging everything from their friends or relatives, they would have a big opportunity to be misled. Because their standards of right or wrong are not always same as most people.
In addition, movies and televisions can use their strong influence to spread positive and optimistic thoughts into people’s minds. People will be willing to do something which may make them to get praise and support rather than do something which may make them to get despising even punishments. For instance, my brother once saw an inspirational movie about a person who always services to the society and finally gets a big award from a president. After seeing this movie, he told me that he also wanted to dedicate himself to the society.
What’s more, movies and televisions can deeply impress people because these media are almost touch their daily life. Hence, when making a decision, people may rely on a situation they saw on a television program. Take me as an example. The thing I hate the most is to wait traffic light, especially when I have some emergent things. Once I couldn’t wait a traffic light and wanted to run the red light. At that time, I remembered that I ever saw a traffic announcement showed on television program, and this announcement reminded me that I might get ticket if I did so. Finally, I didn’t do it.
In conclusion, from I have discussed above, movies and televisions should convey a concept for people that good men can acquire reward and bad men deserve to be punished. Since media havehas a big effect toward on people, giving them correctly viewpoints and impressing them a lot. _____________________________ I have not corrected your entire essay as it would take too much time. 'Television' should be singular throughout. I like the way you use a real life example. You need to take care with prepositions. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
