Hi every one.
Please take a look at my essay and say your suggestions to make it better. Thanks.

Students of universities often have a choice of places to live. They may choose to live in university dormitories, or they may choose to live in apartment in the community. Compare the advantages of living in university housing with the advantages of living in an apartment in the community. Where would you prefer to live? Give reasons for your preference.

Living in dormitory means more lessons and less entertainment, living in community house means lessons beside entertainment. When there is a choice between dormitory and community house there is some factors to keep in mind, such as distance from campus, money spending, security, freedom of doing works that may disturb others, space, and quietness.

A dormitory is near to campus and sometimes it’s in it. In this case you don’t worry about traffics, transporting costs, or even when you have to wake up. Usually a dormitory is cheaper than a house in community. Money is what students usually have some problems with, so from this point of view, cheapness of dormitory is a positive factor. Since dormitory is under the responsibility on university, and universities usually have some employee in it, it’s more secure. Dormitory is full of students, so there is a friend any time you need help. But dormitories have its drawbacks. You have to obey rules. Some boring obeys, for example not being late at night, stay quiet for others to relax, bear someone who makes annoying noises and so on.

On the other hand community houses have freedom. You can stay out door as long as you want. Or you can come back to house at any time at night or morning. You have plenty of spaces and there is no obligatory to share a room with someone. Having no one as supervisor let you have party and stay awake late at night. You can listen to music with high volume. But we have to bear in mind that there is some drawbacks, such as its distance to campus, its costs, and less securities. You have to rent a house with higher cost, you have to take a transport viachle to reach to university and awake early at morning to not being late for class.

With considering all these, I prefer community house to dormitory. Listening to music, staying away late at night, coming back to home any time I want, having some friends for coming to my home, tendency to have my own room and trying to stay away from crowdedness are some of my reasons. Paying more money in exchange of having more space for you own is suitable for me. Consider you have a friend who want to come to you for visiting and accidently it’s his/her birthday. If you want to surprise your friend and arrange big part for him/her, that would not be possible at dormitories. Because maybe some student make object that they have test and you should be quiet.

Dormitory has its advantages, but it cannot overcome its disadvantages. So by comparing dormitory and community house I prefer house because of its more enjoyable. Although staying in house can be a little risky but it has priority to dormitory.
