You need to travel from your home to a place 40 miles (64 kilometers) away. Compare the different kinds of transportation you could use. Tell which method of travel you would choose. Give specific reasons for your choice.





These days, traveling has become pleasure and comfort rather than discomfort.In the past, people had to grapple with many difficulties when they want to travel from one place to another. Th time I need to travel to such forty miles, I would use train instead of using my car or even other transportation ways seeking for the comfort and services that I can get.

I would not use my car when I need to travel outside town. Basically, it costs me much money to fill it with gas.Moreover,It's not logical to use a car when a cheaper traveling way is available. Besides, I can keep my car for emergency situations.

Also, when I drive my car I can't do anything. Maybe,I can only talk to people who are with me in the car. The best alternative is trains that I can check my email, have a meal, use my cell phone, read a book and relax. The more time I save, the more successful I can be. Furthermore, even if I am rich and capable to ride my car going to anywhere, the importance of time comes first.The thing I have learned from my father is that If I owned everything in the world, I still would not be able to buy back moments that have passed without benefits for my self or others.

Third, I will not use a bus because it is not safer that train. I believe trains are still safest traveling way rather than airplanes or ships.Trains are attached to powerful iron bars, which keep the train on its path resulted more stability and safety. Not only because trains are safer than buses, but also they're faster.

All in all, I am someone who prefers trains. Taking a train is my choice ,because it safes my money, lets me do my daily tasks. And, the safety level in trains is better. Hence the train would be my choice every time I want to travel to 40 miles or farther.
