In many countries, the number of female students studying in subjects which were once studied only by men, is increasing. Since men and women are generally different in abilities, it's hard to accept that equal numbers of both genders must be accepted in every subject. Actually, by accepting the same number of female students as male students in every subject in universities, the chance of equal use of facillities will be given to both groups. This, will lead to a larger proportion of female students anticipating in activities which was used to be done by male students. But, not all female students are qualified for doing such things. As well as the physical power needed for an activity is concerned, the woman have less quality for doing such things. Activities such as physical works done in an engineering survey and the energy needed for a practical work in a factory, emphasises the fact that women's abilities are less and the number of female students which must be accepted in related university subjects must be less. Also, there are some delicate activities which requires the accuracy of women and will not be done so good if it's done by a man. Activities such as sewing, baby-sitting and care-giving are some good examples of this reason, which women can do these much better than men. This decreases the proportion of men qualified for being accepted in related subjects in universities. Overall, according to the different abilities of men and women, there are some works which would be better to be done by women, while there are some, which men can afford better than women. This claims that the number of male and female students accepted for university subjects must be different, related to the subject. Although it can provide the equal chance for both group to anticipate in each other's activities. |
