Hi every body ; I read all the responds , and I like it all I learn my english from movies, series and programs when I was 10 years old that make me understand some words, but becuase we don't speake english frequently even in school when we study english, but I discover that I understand english very well but I can't speak or write it very well. lately I take Toefle IBT course and I love it very much and enjoy when I study it but I am afraid from the exam because it based on four parts reading, listening , writing , and speaking, because of that i injoied to this forum to learn more and improve my english . now I read articles, news ,and be more attention to pronounce the word and hope one day I can speake like them. best regards. Dear Teacher’s
We improve our English by openly talk together. It’s my personal the best way to improve our English when we well know the alphabets a, b, c, d, e………………..and we able to make any single word by alphabets b.o.o.k, book. This is first step to learn English. If we depended just our teacher we have never improve our English.
Teacher is say: apple
Student say; apple
This time student is not known how its apple…? Why use the “e” end of the word. Teacher say apple and student speak apple. But if student learn to himself with kindness of teacher it’s easy way to improve his English. Computer is too best way for improve our English, net search, stories, type letter on Microsoft word ,Listen English music, newspaper, English books, etc.
Sorry for that If I am wrong, please you guide me how to improve our English.
Best regards,
Nice Rose |

Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and today is my first day. I found this thread very interesting as I'm really looking forward to improve my writing and speaking skills. I'm a keen learner and always try new methods to learn English language. When I was in school my father used to tell me to read newspapers loudly in front of a mirror, he said it will bring confidence and clear my speech and trust me this method really helped me a lot. I've improved my reading and pronunciation skills very much. Nowadays, I watch english movies (preferably with english subtitles), I listen to english music (soft music), I've worked for Call centers specially for UK processes. Still, I beleive I have a long way to go and this learning process will never come to an end.
Looking forward for your feedback members.

Hi Cesar,
Thanks a lot for your questions. Please note that the noun 'advice' is uncountable. This means the word 'advices' does not exist. Also, please read this: What does SHOUTING mean?
As your progress report page shows you have already started completing our listening comprehension exercises and I suggest you keep it up until you have answered all the questions.
Best regards, Torsten

Hi Fahad,
Thanks a for joining our forum and sharing your experiences with us. Your English looks very good indeed and there only a few things I'd like to point out: - 'look forward to' is always followed by a gerund (You sentence should 'I look forward to improving my writing skills...
- Please remember to capitalize the word 'English'. - Note the spelling of 'believe'. (You might also want to start using a spell checker.) - Please check the difference between 'loudly' and 'aloud'.
I look forward to you hearing your first voice message. Best regards, Torsten
